Life is busy enough, no need to add extra work when it comes to cooking. I love making up big batches of shredded chicken or better yet shredded buffalo chicken that I can use to make meals later without a lot of hassle.

By utilizing a store bough pizza crust and a few simple ingredients, you can make this delicious pizza at home in under 30 minutes instead of calling for delivery. And this pizza is so much better than any discount delivery option.

Choosing a pizza crust:

I’m a big fan of these store bought frozen pizza crusts because I can keep them on hand and I love the texture and flavor. They come in plain and several other flavors and work perfectly for a quick last minute pizza night.

Other options include an already rolled out store-bought crust, a frozen cauliflower crust or a homemade from scratch crust (here’s my favorite). The options are pretty endless from the crust you choose to the toppings when making pizza.

How to make buffalo chicken pizza:

The various here are probably as many as the types of crust you could use, but this is my favorite base recipe that you can dress up any way you want.

  1. Ranch dressing for the sauce
  2. Shredded buffalo chicken
  3. Shredded Italian cheese blend
  4. Fresh mozzarella for an added bonus

Recipe tips:

  • This recipe calls for setting the oven at 425 degrees F. The hotter the oven, the faster the pizza cooks and the crispier it will be. Play around with it to get your favorite result.
  • You can pre-bake the crust for 2-3 minutes before adding toppings to ensure your pizza doesn’t get soggy
  • Drizzle with additional buffalo wings sauce if desired for even more spice

If you make a lot of pizza at home, you absolutely need one of these rocker style pizza cutters. Life changing.

  1. Please don’t use ranch dressing. Here in Buffalo, we only use bleu cheese. I have been making this pizza for years and use bleu cheese dressings. I also put celery pieces on it

  2. 5 stars
